Edge of Oblivion has been out for about a one month now … which makes this a good time to talk about what’s up next.
Well, on the book front, there is the matter of Book 2 in the Chronicles of Sarco series. Book 2 went to the publisher two months ago and is slated to release in the spring of 2017. That book has a name… and here it is … *drumroll*
Into the Void.
Into the Void picks up not long after the events of Edge of Oblivion … and into a whole new adventure. Much more to tell on this one in the months ahead.
There is also the matter of Story 2. As you may know, last fall the publisher encouraged me to write a short story to tie into the book series, which I did in the form of The Domes of Aeroel … and which you received for free if you signed on to the mailing list.
The thing is, I liked writing the short story so much, I decided to write more. Two more, in fact. The short stories will run on parallel tracks to the novels, incorporating their own cast of characters in a way that interlaces with the novels. So Story 2 will reintroduce the characters from my first short story, The Domes of Aeroel, and take them on a new adventure. That short story also has a name, which I’ll also reveal here:
The Shadows of Aeroel.
So here’s the timeline on things: in winter of 2016-2017, you’ll receive the short story The Shadows of Aeroel for free simply by being on my mailing list. Then, next spring, you’ll be able to get your hands on my next novel, Into the Void, through the usual retail channels. I plan to repeat the same formula for Short Story 3 and Book 3 in the winter of 2017-2018 and the spring of 2018, respectively.
When it’s all said and done, there will be three short stories and three novels to fill out this world.
Stay tuned.
