Five months ago to the day, my debut novel, Edge of Oblivion, released to the general public. The entire experience has been awesome, humbling, and overwhelming. With next month marking the six-month anniversary of the book’s launch, I’ve decided to mark the occasion by, well, giving stuff away for free.
The first is a free short story. Late last year, at the suggestion of my publisher, I wrote a short story entitled The Domes of Aeroel, which takes place fifteen years before Edge of Oblivion and links a new cast of characters to the events in the novel. Since then, I’ve decided to continue the story arc The Domes of Aeroel into a full short story trilogy. Where the first short story took place before book 1, the second short story, The Shadows of Aeroel, takes place between books 1 and 2. (Book 2, Into the Void, releases in paperback and eBook in May 2017.)
The Domes of Aeroel is available right now, for free, in three digital formats: PDF, Kindle (MOBI), and Nook (ePub). The Shadows of Aeroel will be released, also for free, in the same formats on October 15, 2016 — the six-month anniversary of Edge of Oblivion. You can get both of them by signing up for my e-mail list. (I promise not to spam you, and unsubscribing is quick and painless if you decide to do so.) You can sign up, in fact, right here:

The second is a free book giveaway. I’ve got a signed copy of Edge of Oblivion ready to go, and one lucky winner will be chosen on Goodreads on… you guessed it, October 15.
